Paradigm PDR-8 90WRMS Subwoofer Plate Amplifier Class A/B Powered Active Speaker

  

Paradigm PDR-8 Subwoofer plate amplifier, 90W RMS rated, was used with an 8 4ohm woofer. Last picture shows full voltage at the speaker leads with a test tone to demonstrate working.

Has provision for a remote mounted power on LED, not included. May be suitable for use in other makes and models of subwoofer where the amp can be made to fit into the enclosure.

Depending on the design, this amplifier may not have built in protection against bad wiring or shorted speaker connections. DO NOT connect mains power to the amplifier without securing any loose wiring.

Contact between the two speaker leads or between the leads and other parts of the amplifier or nearby conductors may destroy the amp. The back of the amp has exposed connections LIVE with 240V power when switched on.

There may be hazardous voltage present for a brief period after disconnecting power supply. There is a risk of electric shock and damage if not handled and installed carefully. If the packaging seems to be damaged, take many clear photographs showing the label and damaged areas before opening the package, then continue to photograph each stage of the unpacking process. I will work to provide a resolution as quickly as possible.
