Very rare unit, I had never seen this model before... A few slight blemishes on the black heatsink but nothing major as you can see in the pictures. Feels like upwards of 20lbs. Removed from exotic car that was once owned by a major Hollywood star!!! (Don't ask who, not gonna say for privacy reasons)...

My understanding was the car and installed sound system was a gift on the success of a big movie. I also have an active crossover from the same system. How ever there is no name or label or numbers on this unit. I tested it as best I can and it appears to be working.

It has what appears to be a home made or custom made or modified black aluminum case with a plexiglass top. You can see the circuit boards inside. It's also very high end American made. Don't know if it's also McIntosh or not?

No name or markings visible on the circuit boards. Real puzzle there, could be a pre-production unit?

Could be a one off custom engineered unit? Just no clue by who and I can't say I know for sure everything was working correctly on it. But it powers up and passes sound on the outputs from the inputs.. If anyone recognizes the circuit boards, please let me know who made it. The crossover is currently mounted to the board that the amp was on too.

Unfortunately the way they screwed the crossover to the board is the screw heads are underneath the circuit boards! I wouldn't want to start taking it all apart to unmount the crossover. I have powered this amplifier up on my bench and checked each channel to make sure it's operating correctly. I have been in the electronics business as a technician and engineer for longer then I want to remember.

Don't ask 100 questions about what impedance speakers I used, what thickness cables, what power supply, and did I check it at full rated power and check the THD. I no longer have equipment to do that type of testing. But a do have a good ear and enough knowledge to know if something seems to be working right or not..

But with all used and vintage electronics due to scammers, parts changers and people who don't know how to hook up equipment correctly. We're not a big box store or online market place and can't take the losses on people who want to try it and think about it, or damage it. I never had a problem with them and their tracking is exceptional. I normally use their ground service. It will be packed well and double boxed.
