Yamaha HS5 & HS8 Subwoofer Black Active Powered Monitor Speakers

  
The sub is pretty much a necessity with the Hs5's as the smaller cones don't accurately reproduce the bass frequencies. The Hs8 crossovers the Hs5's at 150 Hz and runs down to 22Hz so you receive a broadband frequency range, great for mixing and accurate monitoring. Connectivity is simple, you run L/R signal out your audio interface into the sub (via XLR), and then connect the left and right Hs5's to the sub. I've owned them from new and planned to use them as secondary reference monitors but found myself only really switching between my main monitors and a pair of Avantones so these are surplus to requirement. I have "burned" them in but beyond that they have had little use. They're all in great condition. I don't have the original boxes or the manual but if you need a manual, these aren't really for you.
