The subwoofer has a wooden enclosure with an optimized band-pass design that delivers high SPL levels with minimal distortion.

The high-power 18 woofer is capable of reproducing frequencies as low as 32Hz. It is finished with a durable Line-X elastomeric coating. D-XSUB processing is built into the subwoofer, allowing you to choose between Normal, Boost, or Xtended LF modes. For setups consisting of two or more DXS18 subwoofers, selecting the Cardioid Mode function effectively decreases stage-side sound pressure while increasing the bottom-end output directed towards the audience, resulting in a clearer stage monitoring environment and a more pronounced bass experience out front. The rear panel has XLR input and thru connectors for compatibility with a variety of speakers and sound systems.

A standard 35mm pole socket allows you to mount a full-range speaker on top of the subwoofer, while integrated handles offer convenient transportation.
